Tymon Park Impoundment Area Becomes Operational

South Dublin County Council in conjunction with Dublin City Council and the Office of Public Works are pleased to announce a significant milestone in the River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme with the recent completion of approximately 230m of raised embankments and the completion of the flow control weir at the Tymon Park Lakes, allowing the impoundment flood protection asset to commence operation from February 20th.
Commencement of Works in Ravensdale Park from May 2025

As the construction of the scheme progress, works are now scheduled to commence in the Eastern end of Ravensdale Park from May 2025.
