In January 2021 a target planning decision date of 26/03/2021 was provided by An Bord Pleanala. This date has subsequently been extended on 4 occasions due to the current workload being experienced by An Bord Pleanala as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, to a current target date of 24/11/2021.

NOTICE PURSUANT TO: Section 175(5)(d) and Section 177AE(5)(d) of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, and the Planning and Development Regulations 2001, as amended.
South Dublin County Council and Dublin City Council give notice that they have furnished significant further information to An Bord Pleanála in respect of a planning application for the River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme (application register reference number ABP-306725-20).

An Bord Pleanála issued a letter dated 17th August 2020 requesting further information in respect of the planning application for the River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme (Ref. ABP 306725-20). An Bord Pleanála has also provided copies of all submissions received on the planning application, after conclusion of the extended statutory consultation period on the 11th June 2020.

The Statutory Consultation period for the scheme was completed on June 11th and a planning decision will now be made by An Bord Pleanala which is expected towards the end of 2020.

Please note that the deadline for submissions to An Bord Pleanála for the River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme has been further extended following the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government review of COVID-19 restrictions over the Easter Period. The deadline for submission is now Thursday 11th June 2020.

Please note that the deadline for submissions to An Bord Pleanála for the River Poddle Flood Alleviation Scheme has been further extended following the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government review of COVID-19 restrictions over the Easter Period. The deadline for submission is now Thursday 28th May 2020 but this deadline may be extended further by An Bord Pleanála as COVID-19 restrictions are reviewed.

Please note that this deadline may be further extended when the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government reviews COVID-19 restrictions over the Easter Period. Please note that all submissions in relation to this Scheme must be made to An Bord Pleanála.
