Update on Proposed Commencement and Pre Commencement Information Event
Just to further update you on the commencement of the scheme.
We are pleased to announce that the scheme will commence from February 6th with the installation of the Site Compound on the Limekiln Road side of Tymon Park along with the required removal of trees and vegetation in Tymon Park.
Construction on the elements of the scheme will then commence in April, with the initial stage of works being concentrated on the Tymon Park elements. This will consist of the engineered embankments, the flow control structure and the Integrated Constructed Wetlands. By commencing on these elements of the scheme it will provide essential storage when works commence downstream on the other elements.
During the scheme and before we commence construction in areas, we will be holding Pre Construction Information Events where members of the Project Team will be available to discuss the works themselves, pedestrian and traffic management plans and any impacts or restrictions that may arise during construction works in the area.
As the works will be commencing in Tymon Park, the first of these events will be held in the TASC Pavilion located in the Tymon Park Limekiln Road Car Park, on January 23rd from 12.30-3.30pm and 6-8pm.
We ask that you please pass on the details of this event to your resident associations or groups you may be involved in, particularly if they are users of Tymon Park as we are fully aware that there may be new residents located in the area since we last held a public event.
